Shipping Schedule

When do you ship?

We normally begin shipping our zoysia grass in early March to states with the warmest climates first. Shipment times can be delayed due to inclement weather or poor field conditions. As conditions permit, we begin shipping to other states. We will continue to ship throughout the proper planting times in your area. Due to weather conditions, it is often hard to give an exact date as to the time of shipment for each specific order. If an e-mail address is provided with the order, you will receive notification of the shipment’s UPS tracking number to help monitor arrival time for the order.

* Normally orders are shipped the next Monday after your order is received ( weather permitting ).

Zoysia grass is freshly harvested from our fields for each order. After packing, Zoysia grass is shipped that same day via UPS ground, directly to the customer’s door. During harvesting, and as part of the preparation for the shipping process, the grass goes through multiple quality inspections. Keep in mind our grass may arrive in a dormant condition. This is the nature of Zoysia grass and once planted will come out of dormancy and produce new green blades. Depending on conditions this will take up to 30-45 days. Zoysia can be planted anytime your ground is not frozen. A late snow or frost will not harm zoysia that is already dormant.

Please keep in mind that this is a live product and it should be removed from the box as soon as it is received. If you cannot plant immediately, place on a flat surface where it gets indirect sunlight and keep it misted with water. It will last up to 3 weeks like this in order to give you time to plant.

We ship orders by UPS Ground in the order they are received. See our Planting and Shipping Map for shipping schedules.

Where do you ship?

We ship Zoysia plugs throughout the continental United States with the exception of Washington and Oregon. Our experience shows that weather conditions there generally are not conducive to the successful growth of Zoysia. Unfortunately, we are unable to ship our product outside the continental United States (we cannot ship to Alaska, Hawaii, Puerto Rico or Canada).
